I know it has been well over a month since a post, sorry. I know everyone is waiting with baited breath to see what the Gerhardt's are up to! Yeah right!
As I sit here watching the final few mintues of ER, I check my itenerary for my upcoming trip to Illinois. I am going alone for the first time. I don't mind, but it will be the longest I have been away from Dane ever, 11 days. But the pay off is that I get to see my in-laws and my nephew for the first time. I'm a little apprehensive about it. It's been quite some time since I have handled a baby that small, and I'm a little wierd about messing with other people's children for fear of doing something they don't want me to do. It will be a really good vacation though. I don't have to worry about anyone but me. . .nice change. I probably won't have to cook, yay.
I'm waiting for my brownies to cool, Dane stole my cake. Grandma and I had a really good day today. We both got our Easter dresses, and I got the pink Coach purse I really wanted. Got a new flag for the porch and a flag pole, but it is too big for the hardware that is already attatched to the house, so I have to get a new mounting bracket, not a big deal, just a pain in the butt. Holly's been really mean to Abbi today, picking fights and not listening, but that's Holly, so I shouldn't be surprised.
